DISNEY MODE DELAYED

📅Originally planned for March 2027, the mode now has NO scheduled release date.

⏳Development is reportedly progressing slower than expected, with Epic underestimating the staff and time needed.

🎮The Epic Games x Disney Marvel + Star Wars Shooter mode has reportedly been DELAYED! (via t/Bloomberg)

🌀Described as "a shooter featuring characters from the Marvel and Star Wars franchises"..

🤖Developers have also reportedly been instructed to adopt an "AI-FIRST" production model, using tools like Claude.

💻Under this approach, AI would handle much of the production work, while humans would guide and manage it, with claims of "NO MORE HAND-WRITTEN CODE."

😬Some developers are reportedly shocked and skeptical about the changes :3
